Food Is Good and Fun. We Can All Agree on That. Food Safety Does Not Have To Be the Exact Opposite.

Green apple with leafI have spent many a year in a past life in the restaurant business. As such, I have had my fair share of food safety courses. And I am lucky enough to have had a teacher who was funny and made it almost bearable. If the instructor had droned on in one tone the whole time, I genuinely do not believe that I would have been able to sit through all 10 hours.

Anyone whom you ask about food handling courses will tell you the same thing. That they are boring. They are a chore to sit through, and it is just constant repetition of the same numbers over and over. But, I have some exciting news for you. It does not have to be. You can find companies offering food safety rules and regulations instruction and certification courses that are not so wretchedly boring that they make you want to scoop your own eyes out, and then wash your hands for 30 seconds before touching any food, of course, following restaurant food safety guidelines.

The best program offering food safety rules and regulations training will approach it not from the standard, and therefore boring, classroom perspective. Instead, they will seek to show you from a lifestyle perspective. They will recognize the fact that learning this material should be fun and enlightening. They want you to be informed and engaged, not just taught at.

The ability to split up the learning into bite size portions and test after each one helps to make it more palatable, and also makes the stressful test taking a breeze. Restaurants rules and regulations training companies know how painful they can be. So you will certainly want the one that has made the effort to make it far less painful for your learning experience.
